SODC (SUN Open Source Developer's Community of BVBCET) was indeed lucky todevelop relationswith The Deshpande Foundation (http://www.deshpandefoundation.org/) during SFW 08. It is one of theleading philanthropic Foundations in Massachusetts and Indiain the areas of innovation, entrepreneurship and international development through its grant making. about 7 student groups (still to increase) of SODC have been offeredLEAD Scholarshipsto promote FOSS among NGOs & Schools. (With a budget of upto INR 2000 per project they take up!!).
